Wheels of Thunder

May/June 2009 By: Mary Dean

First of all, I want to thank each of you for the generous club donation to my sister, Linda Johnson, who is battling cancer.

Her surgery went as well as possible and she was so touched by all of the support she received from the benefit that was held for her. I also want to thank the many of you that donated personally to her cause and for the members that attended the benefit.

Those donations allowed us to meet our goal. Your kindness will never be forgotten.

There were several of us that enjoyed the recent classic car event held in Wildwood.

Everyone was predicting rain, but other than a 15 minute burst of storm....the weather cooperated great.

President JJ Hares brought home a trophy for his beautiful Ford Truck. Congrats!
