A message from your 2009 President JJ Hares:

 I would like to thank all members that elected me as your 2009 President.  I am humbled by your confidence in me and I give you my word that I will do my best.  I have some very big shoes to fill in following our past Presidential Leadership of David Dean and Phil Hitchner.   My reason for accepting your nomination was the knowledge that our club will continue to receive their input in moving our club forward.

 

With our taking this year off for our show, 2009 is a year to focus on our “Club”.  The definition of club is a group of people organized for a common purpose, to gain good fellowship, supported by the contributions of the members.  This is your club, this is our purpose.   I welcome all of you to bring your ideas and concerns to our meetings.  Your participation in our club is what is important to keep us together strong.

 

I look forward to working along with our other 2009 club Officers - Vice President Bob Brenner, Treasurer David Dean, Secretary Ed Kligmann, Sergeant at Arms Anthony DeGregorio and I thank them for their willingness to support me, as your Club President.

 

I also want to thank all of our past Officers that have served you in the past…. Phil Hitchner, Randy Waller, Anthony DeGregorio, David Dean and Ed Kligmann.  The Wheels of Thunder Club has been rewarded by all of your hard work and dedication.

 

Let’s make 2009 a fun year.  Let’s get out to some shows this year and display our maroon colors proudly.  Let this be a year where we can spend some time together, as a “club” and gain some of that “good fellowship”.
